Jacob Pierce, owner and operator is a proud Kaurna and Nurrunga with a sharp wit and contagious sense of humour. Through Howler Monkey Catering he is reclaiming his cultural identity, honouring his ancestor's tradition of cooking for community for over 2500 generations.

Everyone is welcome and can collect his food from Jacob himself and have a yarn in a safe community space that values diversity and inclusion.

In a fast paced world Jacob actively chooses to cook slowly with attention to detail and respect for the ingredients and the planet. He is committed to low-waste processes and environmentally friendly practices, only using locally sourced ingredients whenever possible.

A percentage of profits also go to Canteen, an Australian charity that has provided free and tailored support to young people impacted by cancer for almost 40 years. So you’re not only getting great food but also contributing to something bigger!
